60 years of architecture
Displaying the rich history of an architecture firm.
A Celebration
With Francis Cauffman’s 60th anniversary fast approaching, a book was commissioned to highlight some of the firm’s most memorable projects.
Cover
A facade detail was chosen for the cover. The color brown was selected to contrast with the silver of a companion book of the firm’s recent work.
Contents
Focus for the book was always going to be placed on images of the projects, but spreads like this allowed for sharp angles and repeating lines on the cover to become a minor recurring theme.
Signature projects
In addition to regular content, signature projects were given a unique, soft toned page to stand out when flipping through the book.
Details
In some cases type was given graphic flourishes to echo the design elements unique to the project.
